What is Support Your Buddy?  

The “Support Your Buddy” campaign is an HES fundraiser that allows you to make a direct donation in lieu of school-wide fundraising projects like gift wrap, cookie, or coupon book sales.

 

What will the Support Your Buddy campaign fund?  

Funds raised will be used to purchase and install large sun shades for the playground and the circle in front of the school where students often have recess. Our school goal is to raise $30,000, 

which is easily accomplished with your help. 

 

What else does Support Your Buddy fund?  

Donating to the “Support Your Buddy” campaign is a great way to help the PTA fund the school programs and services that CMS does not include in its budget. Examples include, but are not limited to, ParentSquare, Excel Math, Fall Festival, Buddy’s Dinner, staff appreciation, school beautification, technology upgrades, and end-of-year class parties.  

 

A suggested donation of $75 per child will help us reach our school goal of $25,000. If the suggested donation is not right for your family, please know that every contribution is appreciated, no matter the amount.

We are requesting contributions in one of three ways.

​

• Give online using the "Donate Now" link at the top

• Send in payment with your child using the envelope attached to the flyer sent home from school

• Or Mail* a check to:

❖  The class with highest participation and most $$$ collected, per grade, will receive a pizza party!  ❖

 

❖  Every student who donates the suggested amount of $75 or more will be entered into to a Grand Prize drawing to win one of the prizes listed below:  

 

• One night stay at Great Wolf Lodge – Concord, NC  

• Family outing to Top Golf - $150 value

• Admission to Speedway Christmas, Charlotte Motor Speedway

• 4 games of golf and snoballs for 4, Lake Norman Mini Golf

• Northstone Country Club Golf Package for 4

• Dinner at the Melting Pot - $75 value

• Dinner at Brixx Wood Fired Pizza - $50 value

Every donation of $75 or more received by Thursday, September 16th will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing a SECOND time for an extra chance to win one of the Grand Prizes!
