This is my 8th year on the HES PTA Board! I have also been VP of Advocacy, VP of Communications and Secretary. My children Preston and Samantha are in 8th and 5th grade. I work full time in Digital Marketing at Bank of America and love cooking, traveling and gardening. Our family LOVES HES and everything my husband Jeff and I do for this school comes from our complete adoration of it and all the people here. We get excited for everything PTA does because they all feel the same way we do. So when we collaborate, great things happen. Go Bulldogs!

Hello! My name is Katie Davidson and this is my first year on the PTA Executive Board, but I have been involved in the HES PTA for 6 years. After 6 years at HES, my oldest son, Liam, is headed to Bailey Middle School this fall and my youngest, Luke, is a rising 3rd grader. After working in Human Resources for 20 years, I decided to become a stay at home Mom. My husband Rick works in the Mortgage Technology field. We are a soccer loving family and we love to travel, especially to Disney World. We absolutely love HES and I am looking forward to contributing more to the PTA this coming year.
Nikki Ballard

My name is Nikki Ballard, and I am thrilled to be serving on the HES PTA. I have two boys, and my oldest (Isaiah) will be in Kindergarten at HES this year. I graduated from Furman University (undergrad) and Vanderbilt (grad) and spent the first decade of my career at PwC. After transitioning from public company financial statement audit into HR/ Human Capital, I now lead a team of HR Business Partners at RVO Health. I am looking forward to flexing my “love for numbers” muscles in my role as PTA Treasurer. When I’m not at work or spending time with my sweet boys, I enjoy being outside and laughing over red wine with friends. Looking forward to an amazing year with our HES community!

My name is Colleen Segarra and I have served on the HES PTA for the past 4 years co-chairing the Spirit Wear committee and 1 year as a
room parent. I have 4 children - a 10 year old son, Jack, in 5th grade, an 8 year old daughter, Lucy, in 3rd grade and 6 year old twins, Seth & Ethan, entering Kindergarten this year. I am excited to have all 4 of them together at Huntersville Elementary for this one year. Prior to becoming a stay at home mom, I was a teacher and educational consultant. Our family loves being a part of the HES community. I look forward to a great year on PTA working with all of the volunteers to support this amazing school and its staff.

Kelly Revels

My name is Kelly Revels and I have served on the Huntersville Elementary School PTA for the past four years. I have been President, VP of School Support, Co- chaired Spirit Store committee, and I have been a weekly class support and a class room parent for the past 5 years. I am the mother of 4 - 2 stepchildren Kamryn and Jacob, and sons Grayson and Zac. My favorite events to volunteer at include Field Day, Book Fair and Teacher Appreciation Week. In the community, I serve as a team leader for my church’s youth program. Although a graduate of Appalachian State University, I am also a dedicated NC State fan and attend most home games with my family.
Mandy Vigus

My name is Mandy Vigus and I’m excited to join the HES PTA board as VP of school support! This past year was my first year at HES. I served on several committees and as a room parent! My daughter Vivian will be in 1st grade next year, and I also have a 3yr old daughter, Savannah. Prior to becoming a stay at home mom, I was an elementary school teacher for eight years! I taught 3rd grade, 1st grade and TK over the years in metro Atlanta as well as Charlotte. As a family, we love to travel! If we’re in town, you can usually find us spending time with family, involved in neighborhood activities or out on lake Norman! I look forward to a great first year on the PTA board!
Jennifer Griffin

Hello! My name is Jenn Griffin and this is my first year on the PTA executive board. I have been involved with the HES PTA for 6 years in various roles including the holiday shop, Art by Me and being a room parent. My husband Mike and I have two daughters at HES, Betsy is a 5th grader and Grace is in 2nd grade. We also have a new little buddy, Miles, who is 2. I am a graduate of Clemson University with a duel degree in Graphic Communications and Package Engineering and spent the majority of my career in the snack food/coffee packaging industry. In 2019 I left my job to become a stay at home mom. Our family loves all things soccer, hiking, biking and travel. I am looking forward to being more involved with the PTA this year and working more closely with all of the amazing parents and staff.
