A Word From Mr. Ruppenthal

I hope you will join me for Coffee with the Principal this Thursday, October 31 at 9:00 AM.  We will meet in the Media Center Conference Room.

All visitors must provide a photo ID and check in the Lobby Guard front kiosk in order to gain entrance into the building. There are no exceptions! We have had several parents who have come in for parent-teacher conferences without ID and were turned away. Please do not argue with the front office staff or try to circumvent the policy. This policy protects the safety of our students.

Lost and found items not claimed will soon be donated to Goodwill. The new lost and found is located outside the cafeteria doorway closest to the kindergarten wing. It is overflowing!

I cannot stress the importance of attending your child's first quarter parent-teacher conference. It is important to be able to gauge how your child is performing now that the school year is well underway. Be sure to ask your child's teacher any questions for any matters that need clarification. Many of your conferences will be led by your child! Student-led conferences are a great way to have children take responsibility for their own learning. However do not hesitate to talk to your child's teacher if you have lingering questions or if you need to speak to them in confidence.
