What is Support Your Buddy?
The “Support Your Buddy” campaign is an HES fundraiser that allows you to make a direct donation
in lieu of school-wide fundraising projects like gift wrap, cookie, or coupon book sales.
What will the Support Your Buddy campaign fund?
Funds raised will be used to continue making upgrades to outdoor learning spaces, install additional sun shades on playgrounds and make other necessary campus improvements. Our school goal is to raise $30,000, which can easily be accomplished with your help!
What else does Support Your Buddy fund?
Donating to the “Support Your Buddy” campaign is a great way to help the PTA fund the school
programs and services that CMS does not include in its budget. Examples include, but are not limited to, ParentSquare, Fall Festival, staff appreciation, school beautification, technology upgrades, and end-of-year class parties.
How do I donate to Support Your Buddy?
There are three easy ways to donate!

Fill out the attached envelope and enclose your check made payable to HES PTA.
A suggested donation of $75 per child will help us reach our school goal of $30,000.
If the suggested donation is not right for your family, please know that every contribution is
appreciated, no matter the amount.
What are the benefits of the Support Your Buddy Campaign?
100% of your donation will benefit Huntersville Elementary School.
100% of your donation is tax deductible.
Every student who participates will receive a Homework Pass and a Buddy bracelet.
Every Student who donates $75 or more will be entered into a drawing to win a grand prize.
How can I double my Support Your Buddy donation?
Your employer may offer a match that will amount to double the donation for HES.
If you submit a request to your employer for a matching donation, please email us at huntersvilleelementarypta@gmail.com.
