Did you know that kids who are battling cancer only get 4% of the nations funding for cancer research? 

 

Huntersville Elementary School is starting it’s Community Service campaign by trying to change this statistic through hosting two Christmas bake sales for Cookies for Kids Cancer! Cookies for Kids Cancer is a local nonprofit that funds research for new, improved and less toxic treatments for pediatric cancer! Grant Mills, a 3rd grader at HES, lost his 2 year old sister, Easton, to cancer suddenly and has since participated in fundraising for CFCK! Kids helping Kids through Cookies for Kids Cancer is the best way to show our school that we can make a global difference through something as simple as a bake sale! Please join us in baking or volunteering for these fun and inspiring events!!
